Information on Your Rights Under Directive (EU) 2015/2302
The combination of travel services offered to you as Italy in a Week constitutes a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
You will therefore benefit from the rights and protections applicable to package travel.
ACS S.r.l. (Veditalia) is responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.
As required by applicable law, Veditalia also has insolvency protection in place to protect payments made by Travelers and, where transportation is included in the package, to provide for repatriation if Veditalia becomes insolvent.

Key Rights Under Directive (EU) 2015/2302
- Travelers will receive the essential information concerning the package before entering into the package travel contract.
- Veditalia, as Organiser, is responsible for the proper performance of the travel services included in the package.
- Travelers will be provided with an emergency telephone number or other appropriate contact details through which Veditalia can be contacted for assistance during the trip.
- Travelers may transfer the package to another person who satisfies the applicable conditions, provided reasonable notice is given and subject to any costs permitted by applicable law.
- The package price may be increased after conclusion of the contract only where this is expressly permitted by the contract and only as a result of increases in the specific costs permitted by law. No price increase may be imposed within 20 days before the start of the package. Where an increase exceeds 8% of the total package price, the Traveler may terminate the contract. Where Veditalia reserves the right to increase the price, the Traveler is also entitled to an appropriate price reduction if the relevant costs decrease.
- If, before departure, essential elements of the package other than the price are significantly changed, the Traveler may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee and receive a refund of the payments made. If Veditalia cancels the package before departure, the Traveler is entitled to a refund and, where provided by applicable law, compensation.
- The Traveler may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee before departure where unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at the destination or its immediate vicinity significantly affect the performance of the package or the carriage of passengers to the destination. In such circumstances, the Traveler is entitled to a full refund of payments made for the package, without additional compensation.
- The Traveler may also terminate the package travel contract at any time before the start of the package. In such cases, Veditalia may apply an appropriate and justifiable cancellation amount in accordance with the travel contract and applicable law.
- If, after the package has started, significant elements of the package cannot be provided as agreed, suitable alternative arrangements must be offered to the Traveler, where required, without additional cost. If a lack of conformity substantially affects the performance of the package and Veditalia fails to remedy it in accordance with applicable law, the Traveler may have the right to terminate the contract without paying a termination fee.
- Travelers may be entitled to an appropriate price reduction and/or compensation for damages where travel services included in the package are not performed or are improperly performed.
- Veditalia must provide appropriate assistance where a Traveler experiences difficulties during the package.
- If Veditalia becomes insolvent, payments protected by the applicable insolvency protection will be refunded. Where insolvency occurs after the package has started and passenger transport is included, repatriation will be secured in accordance with the applicable insolvency protection arrangements.
